 Christmas Craft Ideas:

In this post, I  will be listing a bunch of crafts you can make for the holidays! I will not include the instructions, but I may make another post on how to make a few of them. You can look on Pinterest for most of the instructions if you would like that. Happy holidays!!

1. Gnome ornaments 

I have really been loving gnomes lately, so I decided that this would be the perfect craft to start with! These little guys are just so adorable you can't resist making them! You can also make a lady gnome by giving it braids instead of a beard! 

SUPPLIES:

- yarn

- felt or sturdy fabric

- twine

- scissors

- wood bead or small pom pom

- hot glue gun (and sticks)

2.  Grinch Slime

Everyone loves making slime, so why don't you make a Grinch-themed slime for Christmas? Slime is a popular craft and is pretty simple TO MAKE. This slime could also be a snowy slime if you color it blue/white instead of green. There are so many ways you can customize this craft to fit whatever you want!

SUPPLIES:

- clear glue

- eye drops

- baking soda

- green glitter

- green food coloring

- a bowl to mix everything in

- measuring cups 

- spoon to mix with

- something to store the slime in (closed container, plastic baggie, etc)

3. Sock Snowman

It is so much fun to make sock snowmen, and they are quite easy! If you have ever made a sock gnome, it is similar to that! To make a sock snowman you don't even have to sew!!

SUPPLIES:

- a white sock

- colorful/ patterned sock for the hat

- dry rice (beans would work too if you would like something less expensive.

- rubber bands/ thread/ yarn

- colorful buttons

- the ribbon of your choice

- hot glue gun ( and sticks)

- markers or paint

-orange pom pom

4. Cute Christmas Tree Ornaments

These are adorable little Christmas trees that make perfect decor for your REAL Christmas tree! They can be made by people of all ages! You also don't need very much to make them!

 

SUPPLIES:

- green  yarn 

- pom poms in multiple sizes 

- cardboard

- scissors

- white school glue (or you could use a hot glue gun if you would like to)

5. Paper Bag Snowflakes

These beautiful paper bag snowflakes add a wintery vibe to your room without it overpowering the space. For this craft, you can use white or brown paper bags depending on how you want them to look. In this holiday craft, you can use your imagination to come up with a pattern for your snowflake, remember no 2 snowflakes are alike! This DIY takes normal paper snowflakes up a level!   

SUPPLIES:

- paper bags (white or brown, it doesn't  matter)

- hot glue gun (and sticks)

- scissors

- twine or string (to hang up the snowflakes with)
